School is starting to be really painful with the ridiculous amount of reports required to be done. Sometimes I can’t help but wonder if the lecturers do go through every single one of the reports. Marking styles are also subjective and their perception of you will probably influence the marks they are willing to give.
I’m blessed with having the skills to look really interested in class when my head is often somewhere else. Now I really need to learn to sleep with my eyes open. I will totally be invincible.
It’s quite obvious how school is draining vast amounts of energy from my peers as there turn out to be more empty chairs than students after every week. I did skip some lectures on my part. Made me feel like a bad ass punk but still guilty for doing so.
My days are really long and my nights longer. Here’s the deal why. I used up almost all my savings (planned to buy a house) and spent it on starting a business. This is a venture with a classmate of mine which I have no intention of keeping in contact with after graduation. But since the business happened, there will be a change of plans. The goal is to introduce/ manage sports and play to school kids and youths, ultimately saving them from being slaves to the internet. The playground was my Facebook where I meet other real living things and so I still believe that is how it is supposed to be even now. Time to bring back the culture of play and let these kids know what fun is without their X Box and Playstation.
Recently I saw many of my classmates rushing reports 15 minutes before deadline for submission. How impressive. Not to brag, but I completed them on the same day the details of the report was announced. Not that I want to but I have to. Now I’m doing proposals for potential clients and a successful proposal does not mean an A grade. It means business. Pressure! It’s totally nerve wrecking while I wait for the results for the contract tender.
I really hope this will work out. I’ve got the website ready, Facebook page ready (PLEASE be kind enough to like the page for me), tenders sent, name cards, programmes, work shirts for facilitators and some other stuff which I feel is important.
Fingers crossed. Say hello to many late nights. I am on my way to take over the world with my brilliant sporting mind.
